2 Mother’s Day Ideas
Mother’s Day is this weekend and what better way to say “I Love You” than with a homemade gift? There is nothing more special than creating something unique with a child. Here, we are sharing two great ways to craft the perfect Mother’s Day gift!
Create a Card
A hand-made card is always better than a store-bought one. The personal touch on a hand-made card is something no one else can replicate. We’ve shown you before one way to make cards using bubbles and food coloring, now, we will explain how to make it in a slightly different way for a Mother’s Day card!
The same basic steps apply to making a card as making art. First, take plastic cups and fill them with Bubble World bubble solution. Then generously pour food coloring into each cup and mix it into the solution. We picked up some neon colors, which worked nicely for Spring. Next, place a card on a flat surface. Let your child take a bubble wand, dip it into the colored solution, and have them blow bubbles onto the card. When the bubbles pop onto the card, it will create a unique colorful design. Finally, let it dry, and then feel free to let your child write a sweet message on the inside. Note: this activity is best done outside. As you will see from our pictures, we used plastic bins to contain the experience and ensure the bubbles were directed at the paper.
Make her Flowers
Fresh flowers are a wonderful way to brighten up a mom’s day, but unfortunately, they won’t last forever. Instead, try making flowers using our bubble wand, pipe cleaners, and some beads. This flower craft will show you how to make flowers that will last forever!
